What does FerryOrNot do?

It compares taking the ferry against driving all the way around — timed door to door — using live Washington State Ferries schedules, delays, and drive-up space, plus current traffic. It tells you which is faster, when to leave, and whether you’ll make the next boat.

How much does it cost?

FerryOrNot Plus starts with a 7-day free trial, then $1.99/month or $19.99/year. Both plans begin with the free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID; the subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

On your iPhone: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → FerryOrNot, then change plan or cancel. You can also open the app and go to Settings → FerryOrNot Plus → Manage subscription. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the period you’ve already paid for.

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?

Sign in with the same Apple ID, open FerryOrNot, and tap Restore purchases on the subscription screen (or in Settings → FerryOrNot Plus).

Why does it ask for my location?

Location is used to estimate your drive time to the ferry terminal and, optionally, to remind you as you approach a terminal. It’s used only while you’re using the app, and you can limit or turn it off in iOS Settings. See our Privacy Policy.

Is the ferry data official?

Schedules, vessel status, and drive-up space come from WSDOT / Washington State Ferries; traffic comes from Apple Maps. Space counts and predictions are advisory estimates, not guarantees — always allow a margin.

FerryOrNot is not affiliated with or endorsed by Washington State Ferries or the Washington State Department of Transportation.
